Bio

Kimi Leger was born in Boulder, CO. She grew up in Rhode Island and moved to Asheville, NC in 2000. She has been drawing and painting since a child and began tattooing in 2004. She tattoos black and grey, realism, traditional, color, cover-ups, and loves working with her clients to make their custom ideas come to life. Kimi’s art often fuses Japanese and urban styles, and she loves using mixed media including but not limited to wood, glass, watercolor, acrylic, oil pastel, oil, and fabric.

She also has been live painting with musicians such as Mark Farina, RJD2, Pretty Lights, Bonobo, Blockhead, Emancipator, and Glitch Mob. When Kimi is not in the shop drawing or tattooing, you may find her performing with an all-female breakdance crew or hanging with her most beloved sidekick, her son.
